For the week of February 8
Monday Homework: Practice some editing on the sheet that comes home.
Tuesday: Math group homework due Thursday.
A few questions coming home to reflect on the LBCC play. Library books
due tomorrow.
**Mrs. McCormick would like
students to dress nicely for the music performance, but you might consider
bringing an extra pair of shoes
for break time.
Wednesday: A few questions coming home to reflect on the music performance.
Thursday: A short story coming home to read and to practice writing some
conclusions.
Friday: A few questions related to presidents coming home to work on for the
long weekend.
For the week of February 1:
MONDAY: Write a short reflection on the math show
we had today. A sheet will come home with questions.
TUESDAY: Math group homework…due tomorrow!
Bring in library books for tomorrow’s visit.
Tomorrow is hat day, wear something that says
something about you!
WEDNESDAY: A short list of listening/sound challenges is coming home. Take time
to read and write over the short break. Think about writing a few letters to
friends that you can mail when you return.
For the week of January 25:
MONDAY:
Pick 10-15 spelling words to work
on for the week. Choose from the personal list and/or the list of words I send
home. Hunt around the home for solids and liquids that fit the properties
listed. This science task is due at the end of the week.
TUESDAY: Math group homework. Don’t forget those library books!
WEDNESDAY: Show your MLK letter to your parents and prepare to deliver it to the
person about whom you wrote.
Practice your spelling words at home.
THURSDAY: A science of sound question sheet is coming home. Don’t forget to turn
in the Solids and Liquids sheet by tomorrow.
For the week of January 19
TUESDAY: Math group homework; Return library books for tomorrow’s.
WEDNESDAY: Handwrite homework. Math group homework due Thursday.
THURSDAY: Reading homework.

MONDAY: Write down 3 things you
want to improve on this year.
TUESDAY: Math group homework.

TUESDAY: Math group homework. My students should finish the homework for
tomorrow. Don’t forget to bring in library books.
WEDNESDAY: Brainstorming assignment to think of possible gifts for a person of
your choice.
THURSDAY: Reading task coming home
REMINDER: You can bring in non-perishable foods all week for to help
the needy.

MONDAY: All the materials from the Food Chains and Web unit
are coming home (except for the food chain artwork). Your child will reflect on
the unit; look for a question sheet to answer.

WEDNESDAY: Home inspection materials
about fire safety coming home, including a quiz for your child.

Queen to help Adams.
THURSDAY: Proofreading and vocabulary practice.
FRIDAY: The week’s work is coming home. Game night at Adams, 6:30.
For the week of October 26 (conference week)
MONDAY: Writing
homework; fix run-on sentences by making a few shorter sentences.
Bring in Gift Wrap orders and orders for Adams clothing.
TUESDAY: Some work is coming home for you to look at and keep. There will be
math, reading, and a writing task coming home. Please work on these if your
family schedule permits.
