"Rules"

Please follow these guidelines

Don't change anything on the computers that we haven't discussed.  Sometimes a changes makes sense from one perspective but not another.
(We are constantly updating, trouble-shooting, monitoring the computers. Even small changes can make our job more difficult. If you see something that needs changing, please contact the instructor.)

No food or drink in the classroom (Pepsi and potato chips don't go well with computer equipment. The instructor will let you know if there is a "special" occasion where this rule might be suspended!)

No "personal" music (Music in this class must be related to instruction and "OK'd" by the instructor.)

No playing games (Focus on your work and getting better at it.)

Never turn in another student's work as your own  (Take pride in your work.  Plagiarism rules are tough!)

Do the right thing! (Take care of the room, help others, follow instructions, etc.  We have some good equipment but it is getting older and we can't replace it when it "breaks".  Take care of things and keep the equipment running!)

Credit Denial

This is seldom a problem in this class. However, if you have excessive unexcused absences (10), you can be denied credit. Keep on top of your absences. Get them excused immediately. Come to class and participate. You can't beat a free education!

Good luck this year.
