Corvallis High School AP Scholars!
Corvallis High School is pleased to announce that 43 students have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP (Advanced Placement) Exams. The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program provides motivated and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement or both for successful performance on the AP Exams.
Fifteen students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3.0 higher on five or more of these exams. They are: Ty Callahan, Stepahnie Carlson, Matthew Curtis, Bryant Fong, Aaron Gable, Dylan Garity, Jennifer Johnson, Megan Jones, Rachel King, Kirsten Louthan, Sean McIntyre, Bradley Nelson, Courtney Quinn, Riley Shear and Jonathan Zaworski.
Eleven students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. The AP Scholars with Honor are Benjamin Beamer, Zeit Cai, Matthew Christopher, Alexander Cortright, Emily Green, Vishesh Khanna, Aaron Mock, Shayna Pekala, Kristina Schnell, Kyle Thackray and Adam Zweber.
Seventeen students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams with grades of 3 or higher. The AP Scholars are Gregory Alexander, Christopher Brown, Karin Bucht, Vincent Chen, Alan Chern, Erin Flannery, Teague Green, James Ingalls, Spencer Kadas, Peter Kuhns, Robin Miller, Melissa Queen, Clara Thomann, Daniel Watson, Eric Weger, Tyler Wilson and Joshua Woods.
